I posed this in TTOL. Not a huge response. This is one of my favorite places on Earth, so naturally I thought others would like it (we humans are each the center of the universe of course :) ). Extremely safe, very nice folks. No exchange rate issues.

If you are looking for a family friendly, easy going, extremely limited gawker (hardly any at all) in a very nice environment I suggest trying some of these beaches. There are many hotels nearby, enjoyable and active night life and casinos around the corner if you are interested in that type of thing. But the beach is quiet almost totally naturist filled with friendly folks. I started going last year and I simply loved it.

I have a buddy that lives up in Central Calif. and has visited Secret Cove many times. He and his wife love it and have recommended it to us as well.

As soon as I can get through my "honey do" list with this new house and we get a weekend with some great weather.....we're there!

I've been to Secret Cove a number of times, it's a beautiful place with a nice group of people. Highly recommended

Kate and I are planning to take a trip to the Tahoe area this summer, so thanks for the tip on where we can relax and get a tan. Any issues getting there via motorcycle?

Very very easy to get there by motorcycle. As a matter of fact its extremely popular with motorocycles because of the amazing views. Parking is extra easy for motorcycles. If you want more info about where to park check the links above or PM me and I can give you directions. One note: DO NOT park where it says 'no parking' its a 100% for sure ticket.
