This will be the 3rd Annual gathering at Lighthouse Beach, Fire Island National Seashore, next to Robert Moses Beach, LI NY. The beach is smaller this year and attendee's should arrive early to get a parking spot at Lot 5 before 10:00 AM ($8.00 fee). Please post if you can give advise on motels, car pooling, directions, helpful hints etc. We meet at the first beach boardwalk cut; once at the beach, we are 400 feet east. Saturday is considered the main day with Sunday the alternate/rain day. I will attend both days, as will many if the weather is nice. I will also be bringing 100 servings of the "Mr. St. Martin Specials", Mardi Gras beads and some give-aways. Please also bring your own ice and cups as I can only carry a limited supply. People have also been bringing their favorite food to share with the group. We hope to have another great turnout....it will be great to meet old and new SXM friends.
