Yesterday was incredible! We had at least 30 people chasing beach balls in the surf. It was then on to the halloween party. It had a great buffet. Papagayo was packed. Stephen was dressed as a hot dog. The dancing was fantastic and the decorations were well done. There were prizes for best costumes in several female male and couples costumes. Free dinners, gift certificates at the "Boutique" and free lodging at Club O!!!! We were fortunate enough to win the couples costume and a free five night stay in a deluxe mini suite--How cool is that. My wife and I split a lobster costume and covered the exposed parts in red paint. We are still cleaning that up as I type this. Off to the beach now. I will guess we break forty people chasing balls today. Heavy cruise ships starting Monday!!!
By the way Nancy looked great in costume last night. There were so many great costumes. If you have not been here for Halloween I think it is a must do!!!

| doctorj, Not to sound like a nag here but.....PHOTOS!!! Have a great time and I think St. Barth's may never be the same after Saturday night. 10 years ago, we attended the same event in honor of the 50th anniversary of Le Select, I guess this is for the 60th. --sxmdoc |

Great costume, man that red paint, glad I only had a little to get off me, I was dancing next to Mrs DJ, and got to experience the cleaning too. A red armed viking?.......Big prizes given away, the individual male and female winners got three night stays, second and third gift certs for food and boutique prizes.
On the costume ideas for 2010, Definately a bias towards women filling out creatively painted body clothing, (the paint is the clothing) and nothing else, all three women winners fell in this category, as such I doubt SXMDOC that pictures exist, these costumes were to be seen and not photographed, blackmail would be to high a possibility, but the male friends must have enjoyed the painting.
Although the Lobsters elevated the 2010 contest now to a new level, I liked the riding hood with wolf get up, although Steve awarded him by calling the get up a 'furball' whcih short of the teeth was a good description.
I think the H1N1 costume was great but I think disqualified because they forgot to include the nudity part of the costume until after the judge went around and the costume was a thinking costume.
Not sure if Ms. Olaf would let me body paint her like the devil woman (who won the female first prize, even if I had the talent, the trashy viking get up was bad enough for her I fear, and for me it was tough being a viking with only one horn....we're working on next year ideas already,

Pics will be posted (the ones we can) once we get back. Three ships in today so we have a lot of work to do. Most of the beach ball race prizes are now history. We will be down to rum shots today and boy can those sneak up on you!!
