Has anyone bought property in SXM? We would like the French side but would consider the Dutch. Just thinking about the possibility. Then we could have you all over to visit!

Yes we purchased 2 years this may , a studio/condo in Mont Vernon Hotel on Orient Beach the North most point.It has been great we rent it out when we are not going and it has paid for itself in 2 years.Check it out:http://www.homelidays.co.uk/baie-orientale/studio-36115en1.htm

Spend about 8 months out of the year here
Love it
There are a few studios for sale by owners

i bought a villa in orient near bikini beach 3 years ago. it's much different buying in sxm than in the states.

villa "Joie de Vie" - walk to orient beach, it's just a few steps from the villa.
